A product of the Churches of God Mission in
Bangladesh, Uttam was educated at our mission school in Khanjanpur. He went on to complete a B.A. degree at Rajshshi University
and an M. A. at National University. From 1987-2004, Uttam held various positions with KOINONIA, the caring arm of the National
Christian Fellowship of Bangladesh. He was appointd the Deputy Director of the Churches of God Mission in 2004 and became
Director in 2005.
His wife, Liza is a pastor's daughter and
has served as an office secretary. Uttam & Liza have two sons: Aaron Arpon and Ellin Ankon.
