"Summer's Here"
I'm writing this on Monday, June 21, the official first day of summer. In many ways, "summer"
is a magical word. It makes me think of outdoor activities, baseball games, and vacations. Easygoing times when
people can relax and enjoy the weather.
But in many ways, all those summer activities that we so enjoy only serve to make summer a busy,
even hectic, time. Parents and grandparents are chauffeuring their kids to and from practices and games.
And let's be honest, planning for vacation and getting to the destination can almost drive us nuts. Just ask Chevy Chase!
All this to say - please take some time to kick back, relax, and enjoy the presence of the Lord.
Praise Him for the wonder of His magnificent creation. Thank Him for all the great people He's brought into your life.
Enjoy your daily devotions outdoors if you can. Be adventuresome and try some new foods. In all things praise
the Lord!
And please worship with us when you're able.
God bless.
